On June 20, the 2023 Annual Conference of China Aluminum Processing Industry was held in Binzhou. With the theme of "Innovation, integration and application", the conference focused on in-depth exchanges and discussions on macro situation, industrial policy, industry development, scientific and technological innovation, expanded application, high-level export, and industry self-discipline. Lyu Zhengfeng, Vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Vice chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association, Chairman and general manager of Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the conference and participate in the "Green electricity aluminum evaluation launch ceremony." At the ceremony, the list of the first batch of green electricity aluminum evaluation enterprises in the country was announced, and Nanshan Aluminum was successfully selected.

It is reported that the evaluation of green aluminum is a new work carried out by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association to promote the green and low-carbon development of China's aluminum industry, which aims to identify electrolytic aluminum products produced by green electricity to meet the low-carbon needs of end users, thus enabling the high-quality development of China's aluminum industry.

It has played a leading role in the green and sustainable development of the industry.
