From July 20th to 22nd, the 2022 SMM (17th) International Aluminum Summit was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd.’s aluminum profile company and flat-rolled product division won the honorary titles of “Top 20 Industrial Aluminum Profile Enterprises in China” and “Top 20 Chinese Aluminum Plate, Strip and Foil Enterprises” respectively.

It is understood that the summit was jointly held by Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Network (SMM) and Shanghai Futures Exchange. It lasted for 3 days, a total of more than 500 non-ferrous enterprises, a total of more than 1,200 people attended the conference.

The summit consists of a main forum and five sub-forums: aluminum melting and casting technology forum, electrolytic aluminum and raw material forum, industrial aluminum extrusions application forum, aluminum plate, strip and foil industry development forum, and recycled aluminum new era forum. At the conference, many industry experts, scholars, and professional analysts were gathered to give speeches on relevant topics, and jointly analyzed the policies and industry status of various industries. In addition, starting from market demands and challenges, they analyzed, discussed and expected the new development directions, new ideas and future prospects of various industries.

Among them, at the closed-door exchange meeting of the beverage can stock industry held in the main forum on July 21, Liu Yue, director of the quality assurance department of Flat-rolled Product Division of Nanshan Aluminum made an important speech.

Meanwhile, the SMM China Aluminum Industry Top 20 Supplier Award Presentation Ceremony was held at the “Fenan Night” theme appreciation dinner held on the same day. Nanshan Aluminum Profile Company and Nanshan Aluminum Flat-rolled Product Division were respectively awarded the “China Top 20 Industrial Aluminum Profile Enterprise” and “China Top 20 Aluminum Sheet, Strip and Foil Enterprises” honorary titles.
