Recently, the dispatching department and human resources department of the Nanshan Aluminum Flat-rolled Product Division have jointly implemented the new employees' fire protection knowledge training and practical drills training to increase the safety knowledge of new employees, improve the contingency ability against emergency fire situations, learn the correct use of equipment and escape methods, more than 30 new employees participated in the training.

During the training process, the trainers conducted in-depth explanations and live demonstrations in several aspects such as the use method of fire extinguishers, the use method of indoor fire hydrants, the inspection methods of emergency lighting lamps and evacuation indicating lamps, the time (capacity) of emergency working, the fire classifications, the selection of extinguishers for different types of fire, and the content of regular inspections of extinguisher. It was explained in detail the importance to put out the fire at initial stage immediately, and explained the correct operations of the extinguisher such as "lifting, pulling, holding, pressing and spraying" and other steps through demonstration. Meanwhile, through careful explanation and guidance demonstration, the trainees can master the essentials and methods. Everyone learned how to use fire extinguishers correctly and how to deal with fire emergency, and experienced the fire extinguishing process.

After receiving the training, combined with the content of the training, the trainees carried out practical drills on the spot to further strengthen the practice and emergency reaction proficiency, firmly master the use of all methods and equipment, so the training content was further consolidated.

According to the introduction of the relevant person in charge, the company’s leadership attaches high importance to the safety in production. In order to improve employees’ fire safety capabilities, training models have been constantly optimized. The current entry safety training of new employee adopted new training syllabuses, increased actual combat exams for employees on the basis of theoretical exams, and insisted on the training method of "combination of theoretical teaching and actual combat drills" to improve the firefighting ability of new employees to put out the fire at initial stage.

Through corporate training this time, employees have expanded their fire-fighting safety knowledge, with the deeply-rooted fire safety awareness, so this training laid a foundation in order to implement the fire-fighting requirements of "three understandings" and "three reminders", promote the construction of "four abilities", and further improve the work on safe production.
