The invention patent of “An aluminum alloy material suitable for automobile body sheet manufacturing and its preparation method” jointly developed by Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. (a leading enterprise in China’s non-ferrous metal industry) and Grimat Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. won the “China Patent Silver Award”. This is the first time Nanshan Aluminum won the highest honor in China’s patent field, achieving a historic breakthrough.

The patented technical solution that Nanshan Aluminum participated in has increased the strength of aluminum alloy in a revolutionized way, improved the room temperature stability of aluminum alloy for automobile body sheet, reduced the hardening phenomenon during the stagnation process of alloy, and effectively solved the problem related to natural aging hardening phenomenon of aluminum alloy ABS. The technology not only fills the blank in the field of high performance and room temperature stability ABS aluminum alloy production in China, but also plays an important role in promoting the ABS technological progress and industrial structure optimization and upgrading, which helps to improve the market competitiveness of products and has good development prospects.

According to introduction, the China Patent Award co-sponsored by the CNIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization is the only government department award in China that specifically rewards the inventions granted with the invention right, and is also the highest honor in the field of patent in China. This time Nanshan Aluminum won the “China Patent Silver Award”, which is a high recognition of Nanshan Aluminum’s technological innovation and patent management ability over the years.
