On October 29, the news conference for the List of 2021 Shandong Science and Technology Leading Enterprises was grandly held in Jinan. A list of 200 science and technology leading enterprises was released at the conference. Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. was selected on the list and ranked among the science and technology leading enterprises.

The press conference was jointly organized by the Information Research Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences, Shandong Institute of Innovation and Development, and Shandong Science and Technology Service Development Promotion Center. The selection is based on the research carried out about the innovation and development performance of 14,600 high-tech enterprises in Shandong Province. The selected 200 leading science & technology companies have four distinctive characteristics: First, large R&D investment and high innovation activeness. The second is fruitful scientific and technological achievements and remarkable innovation advantages. The third is the excellent innovation performance and the great role in leading and demonstrating.

For a long time, Nanshan Aluminum has always adhered to the sustainable development concept of “innovation-driven, high-end manufacturing, and intensive processing”. With technological innovation as the driving force, it has steadily promoted the improvement, extension and value-adding of the aluminum industry chain, and strived to promote the high-end development of the industry chain. The company has established the R&D platforms such as the National Aluminum Alloy Plastic Working Engineering Technology Research Center, the National Accredited Laboratory, the National Postdoctoral Research Workstation, the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center, the Shandong Academician Workstation, and the Shandong Electrolytic Aluminum Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction Laboratory. Meanwhile, the company has carried out the cooperation with Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials, Shandong University, Central South University, Northeastern University, Xi’an Polytechnic University and other research institutions to improve technological innovation capabilities and the conversion rate of scientific research results.
